I recently showed my mom all the photos Eric and a few other photographers have taken of me.  You have to understand that within the last year my mother has completely redefined her life.  When she was with my father she was abused and she was never given a chance to OWN her sexuality.  Everything was forced upon her.  After they divorced she quickly absorbed herself into a church that wouldn’t let her date, or even really hang out with anyone, outside of the church.  After about 10 years of not going on one date they paired her up with a man 30 years her senior.  She was miserable as it was quickly obvious they had no future.  She decided a little over a year ago, through trial and error, to try to date new people.  Now she is like a teenager finding herself, and her sexuality, for the first time.  She met the most lovely man and it’s amazing to see her so happy. So anyways, where am I go with this story?  She saw the photo above and goes, “DANG GIRL, ain’t nothing wrong with that!  I love it!”  Then she went on to tell me she takes way dirtier photos (she’s been divulging a bit too much lately). <3 aayla: Deux.
